Last updated: 25 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Mowlai Agency collects, uses, stores and shares personal information when you visit mowlai.agency, contact us, request a free audit or become a client. We have written it in plain English so you know exactly what happens to your information.
1. Who we are
Mowlai Agency is a digital marketing agency for hospitality venues, operated by Mowlai Youness. We work fully remotely from Thailand with venues in Australia and other countries. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mowlai Agency.

2. The information we collect
Information you give us
When you use a form on our website, message us or work with us, we may collect:
- your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
- your business name, business type, website or social media links, business address and country
- the services you are interested in, when you want to start, and anything you tell us about your business and goals
- messages you send us by email, WhatsApp, LINE, social media or our website forms
- if you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and subscription preferences
Please do not send us passwords, bank details or card numbers through our forms or messages.
Information we collect when we work for you
If you become a client, we may receive your brand files, photos, menus, logins or access to accounts you choose to share with us (for example your website, Google Business Profile, social media or advertising accounts), and invoicing and payment records. We prefer access through user roles and invitations rather than shared passwords.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may collect your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, the pages you view, how you arrived on our site (for example from a Google search or an advertisement) and the actions you take, such as clicking a button or submitting a form. See section 5 for the tools involved.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- reply to your enquiry and prepare the free online audit you request
- send your audit and follow up by email or WhatsApp, as described on our forms
- prepare quotes and briefs, deliver our services and manage your account
- send invoices and keep business and tax records
- understand how visitors use our website and improve it
- measure our advertising and show relevant ads to people who visited our website
- send our newsletter, if you subscribed
- protect our website and business from misuse, and meet our legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Marketing messages
We only send newsletters or marketing emails if you subscribed or if you asked us about our services. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing contact@mowlai.agency or messaging us on WhatsApp. We will still contact you about work in progress or an invoice if you are a client.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising tools
Our website uses cookies and tags from third-party providers to measure visits and advertising. These may include:
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, to measure website traffic and form submissions
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing, to measure our Google ads and show ads to past visitors
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), to measure our Meta ads and show ads to past visitors
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure LinkedIn activity and advertising
These providers may collect information about your visit and combine it with information they hold under their own privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can manage ad personalisation here:
- Google: adssettings.google.com, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Meta: the Ad Preferences section of your Facebook or Instagram settings
- LinkedIn: the Advertising data section of your LinkedIn settings
Blocking cookies will not stop you from using our website or contacting us.
6. Who we share information with
We share personal information only when it is needed to run our business or deliver our services, with:
- our website hosting, email and form providers
- our customer relationship management (CRM) system, where we keep enquiry and client records
- messaging platforms you choose to contact us on, such as WhatsApp or LINE
- the analytics and advertising providers listed in section 5
- platforms we use to deliver your work, such as Google, Meta, website and design tools, with your approval
- professional advisers such as accountants, or authorities where the law requires it
We expect these providers to protect your information and to use it only for the purpose we shared it for.
7. Information sent overseas
We are based in Thailand and our service providers store data on servers in several countries, including the United States, the European Union and Singapore. This means your personal information will be accessed from Thailand and may be stored outside Australia. We use established providers with their own security and privacy standards, and we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in line with this policy. By contacting us or using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be handled outside Australia.
8. Information about your venue’s customers
When we manage your social media, Google Business Profile, website or ads, we may see information about your guests, such as reviews, comments, direct messages, booking enquiries or ad audience data. We use that information only to deliver the services you asked for, following your instructions and the rules of each platform. You remain responsible for your own venue’s privacy obligations to your customers, and we will help you meet them where they relate to our work.
9. How we protect and keep your information
We use reasonable security measures, including secure (HTTPS) connections on our website, two-factor authentication on our business accounts, and limited access to client logins. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep enquiry records for as long as they are useful for following up and for up to 24 months after our last contact. We keep client and invoicing records for as long as the law requires for business and tax purposes. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous. When a client relationship ends, we remove our access to your accounts and return or delete your files as agreed.
10. Accessing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email contact@mowlai.agency or message us on WhatsApp. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep some records where the law requires us to.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can fix it. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
12. Children
Our website and services are for businesses. They are not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
13. Links to other websites
Our website links to other sites, such as our social media pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, tools or the law change. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
